Service Description

Using AutoCAD commands, students will apply building and land use design principles, learn how to make connections between building, social settings, surrounding environments, open spaces, buildings, pedestrian, and vehicular circulations to develop and render a long-range campus master plan for higher education institutions. Students will use a conceptual program and create a layout to depict the future academic growth and development of a campus. After completing this course, students will know how to create a colored master plan of a college campus. Prerequisite: None AutoCAD Versions: 2021, 2020, or 2019 (Microsoft Windows) on student's laptop. AutoCAD Use by Instructor: 2021 (Microsoft Windows). Instructor(s) reserve the right to modify the class activities as needed. Requirement: Students are required to have their own laptop with the full version AutoCAD installed on their laptop.
