Mech. Engineering & 2D Drafting (Mon)

Service Description

Students will learn 2D engineering graphics and symbols and take on a hands-on approach to create CAD drawings using AutoCAD. Also, future engineers will setup drawings, learn CAD commands, make 2D geometric objects, and learn editing methods applied to engineering. Students will learn engineering graphics to include multi-view drawings, isometric drawings, line types, auxiliary views, sectional views, measurement, and scale, and working drawings. After this CAD training, students will gain engineering and mechanical drafting principles, and knowledge of AutoCAD commands. Prerequisite: None AutoCAD Versions: 2021, 2020, or 2019 (Microsoft Windows) on student's laptop. AutoCAD Use by Instructor: 2021 (Microsoft Windows). Instructor(s) reserve the right to modify the class activities as needed. Requirement: Students are required to have their own laptop with the full version AutoCAD installed on their laptop.
